The Athens Business Confucius Institute once again successfully administered the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) and HSKK (HSK Speaking Test) at the Athens University of Economics and Business. This examination included eight levels: HSK Levels 1 through 6, as well as the Elementary and Intermediate levels of the HSKK, catering to the needs of 146 candidates at different stages of their Chinese learning journey.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the exams, the Confucius Institute organized pre-test training for all chief examiners and proctors, specifying detailed requirements for all aspects of the examination process. Contingency plans were also prepared for potential issues that might arise during the exams. One day prior to the exams, a final coordination meeting was held to review all procedures for the examination day and clearly assign responsibilities for each task. From room preparation and equipment testing to on-site invigilation, every step was meticulously executed to ensure standardization, rigor, and order.

During the exams, the process was smooth and well-disciplined, creating a fair, comfortable, and quiet environment for test-takers. Candidates remained highly focused and answered questions diligently, while the chief examiners and proctors fulfilled their duties conscientiously to guarantee the smooth progress of the examinations. Despite enduring the scorching temperatures of up to 36°C, all participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm and a strong passion for learning Chinese. Through the collective efforts of everyone involved, all exams were successfully completed.

The successful administration of this test series not only enabled the Athens Business Confucius Institute to effectively assess the achievements of Chinese language teaching but also advanced the further popularization and development of Chinese language education in Greece. Moving forward, the institute will continue dedicating itself to providing high-quality, accessible Chinese proficiency testing services. By using examinations to promote learning, it aims to help more students realize their dreams of mastering the Chinese language and contribute to strengthening friendly exchanges between China and Greece.
