Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to support the pre-opening planning and operational setup of a new luxury boutique hotel in central Athens. The role focuses on establishing operational structures, coordinating with development teams, and preparing the hotel for a successful launch while ensuring a high-standard guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pre-opening plans, including SOPs, staffing structures, budgets, and timelines.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of key hotel personnel.
• Establish operational policies and procedures aligned with hospitality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee procurement of equipment, furniture, uniforms, and operating supplies.
• Prepare opening budgets and implement financial control systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during handover and inspection phases.
• Collaborate with internal development and marketing teams during the pre-opening stage.
• Support early-stage marketing and sales initiatives to build brand awareness and generate bookings.
• Create and maintain a service culture focused on quality, guest satisfaction, and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and hospitality regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel management.
• Experience with boutique or international hotel brands is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, budgeting, staffing, and compliance procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in Greek and English (Chinese or additional languages are a plus).
• Ability to work in a dynamic pre-opening environment and manage shifting priorities.
• Professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
